Travel Neuro Endovascular IR Technologist - $3,600 per week

About the role

Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Florence, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
• Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedures in but not limited to the Neurointerventional (NIR Bi-Plane), based on body habits, pathology, and body parts.
• Processes completed images making sure they are of interpretable quality.
• Continues to develop professionalism through continuing education programs and in-services.
• Complies with all policies of the system with the intention of delivering the highest quality of service.
• Performs all Procedures examinations during scheduled hours and is available for call.
• Works under the supervision and delegatory authority of a surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
• Affixes with draping the patient and establishing a sterile field.
• Affixes with patient positioning and prepping.
• Affixes with lifting, turning, positioning, and preparing patients for surgical procedures, using proper body mechanics.
• Ensures the availability and preparedness of procedure rooms.
• Participates in the surgical site and patient verification during the time out procedure.
• Affixes with cleaning of the room and room turnover.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Full Time hours and Emergency call coverage as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Requires a current license to practice as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in the state of South Carolina.
• Must have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience with Neurointerventional (NIR Bi-Plane) procedures preferred.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
