Travel Neuro Endovascular IR Technologist - $3,600 per week

About the role

Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Florence, South Carolina. This is a full-time travel position with 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, and emergency call coverage as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
• Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedures, including Neurointerventional (NIR Bi-Plane), based on body habits, pathology, and body parts.
• Processes completed images to ensure they are of interpretable quality.
• Continues professional development through continuing education programs and in-services.
• Complies with all system policies to deliver the highest quality of service.
• Performs all Procedures examinations during scheduled hours and is available for call.
• Works under the supervision of a surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures, ensuring a safe operating room environment and proper equipment function.
• Assists with draping the patient and establishing a sterile field.
• Assists with patient positioning and prepping.
• Helps lift, turn, position, and prepare patients for surgical procedures using proper body mechanics.
• Ensures the availability and preparedness of procedure rooms.
• Participates in the surgical site and patient verification during the time-out procedure.
• Assists with cleaning the room and room turnover.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
