Travel Network Deployment Engineer (TS/SCI Required)

About the role

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Deployment Engineer to support a program with the Intelligence Community on-site in Springfield, VA, with up to 25-50% travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites. This is a long-term job opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and deploy network solutions as required for selected customer
• Develop documentation on customer systems and objectives
• Meet with customers to demo/train on new network architecture
• Make configuration changes and deploy patches as necessary
• Troubleshoot and engineer Azure cloud environments

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of network engineering experience
• Must have active TS/SCI
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols
• Understanding of ExpressRoute and Azure Virtual Networks
• Experience in WAN/Internet transport and routing, including BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN
• Understanding of network security and STIG

Pay

• Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
