Travel Neonatal ICU Respiratory Therapist - $2,127 per week
Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 3 Nursery experience for a day shift hospital position requiring the ability to attend C-sections and perform intra-hospital transports.
Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
Level 3 Nursery setting with NICU responsibilities
Intra-hospital patient transports required
Must be available to attend C-sections
Day shift, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, on a rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours)
Every other weekend required
2 Fridays worked per 4-week schedule
No on-call required
13-week contract
Requirements
- CRTT or RRT credential required
- Active Louisiana (LA) RT license required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (required for NICU work)
- Level 3 Nursery experience required
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Licenses required if applicable
About the Role
Provide respiratory therapy services across hospital units including NICU and delivery/C-section settings
RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
Pay, Benefits, and Schedule
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
