Travel NCLEX Instructor - DC/Baltimore Metro Area (On-Site)

About the role

Kaplan North America is seeking experienced nurses to teach the NCLEX exam. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping new nursing graduates succeed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high energy level and engage students to ensure an excellent student experience.
• Facilitate learning and learner development.
• Learn Kaplan’s methodology and strategies quickly.
• Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and ongoing instructional meetings as required.
• Support students through the Kaplan Learning Integrated Coaching (KLIC) program.

Requirements

• MSN or BSN with Masters degree required.
• Current, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse.
• 5+ years clinical nursing experience required.
• Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Weekday availability required.

Pay

• Hourly teaching rate: $50-$55/hr.
• Hourly coaching rate: $35/hr.
