About the role
Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a mixed acuity environment focused on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients. The selected candidate will be required to work a rotating schedule that may include days, nights, or a combination of both based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a mixed acuity setting
- Perform essential nursing skills including IV starts and tracheostomy management
- Monitor patient conditions and maintain accurate medical records using EPIC
- Adhere to a patient ratio of 1:5
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity based on staffing requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Experience with EPIC is mandatory
- Current BCLS certification required
- Oncology experience is preferred, but not necessary
- Previous travel experience is advantageous
