About the role

We are seeking an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts. The RN will provide high-quality patient care for adults and geriatrics, particularly in managing patients with conditions such as osteoarthritis and fractures. Mandatory competencies include phlebotomy and IV placement.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for a caseload of 6-7 patients per nurse at night; ratios may stretch to 8-10 during staffing shortages.
• Perform essential nursing tasks including vital signs, blood glucose checks, and wound care.
• Administer medications and manage IV fluids, including cardiac drips (non-titration).
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Provide care for patients with feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and those requiring high flow nasal cannula.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting.
• Current New York RN license in hand.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency in Epic charting.

Schedule

Night 4x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).
