Travel MS/Tele RN - $2,166 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a hospital contract in Chesapeake, Virginia. The position starts 10/19/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts).

Responsibilities

• Provide care to post‑surgical patients in a high‑volume unit, including urology and GYN populations.
• Adhere to patient ratios of approximately 1:7.
• Work scheduled shifts of 3x12 hours or 4x12 hours, including every other weekend, floating, and holidays.
• Cover two of the three winter holidays as part of the contractual schedule.
• Follow compliance requirements, including thorough review of candidates' history and driver's license verification for address validation.

Requirements

• Active Virginia or Compact RN license
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in Epic
• Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience
• Previous travel experience preferred
