About the Role
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia. We support healthcare professionals with opportunities designed to meet today’s workforce needs. We’re currently looking for a MS/Tele Registered Nurse for a Hospital contract.
Job Details

- Hours: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: 07:00 - 19:30

- Pay Range: 1950.52 - 2048.05
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a hospital setting with a patient ratio of 1:7.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry, initiate IV starts, and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess patient needs and update care plans.
- Document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health records.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards during shifts.
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS required via American Heart Association.
- Must be EPIC proficient.
- IV Start and Telemetry Interpretation skills required.
- 2 years experience required; travel experience REQUIRED.
- Compact or VA license in hand.
- Must include Qualivis Cover Sheet and current NURSYS report.
- All RTO must be included on Qualivis Cover Sheet.
