Travel MS/Tele RN - $1,957 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med Surg / Telemetry assignment in Chesapeake, Virginia.

About the Role

This is a 13-week travel contract at a hospital, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care. The role supports post-operative orthopedic, spinal, bariatric, and colorectal surgery patients and includes monitoring up to 8 telemetry patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care for orthopedic, spinal, bariatric, and colorectal surgery patients.
• Monitor up to 8 telemetry patients as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to unit policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Document patient progress accurately in the Epic system.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience.
• Previous travel experience required.
• Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission; no exceptions.
• Must be proficient in Epic; no exceptions.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Candidates with any license or background hits will not be considered.

Pay

Pay range: $2,070.40 - $2,173.92 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Includes tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: 19:00 - 07:30 (Night).
• 36 hours per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
