TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing assignment in Canton, Ohio. The assignment begins on 11/13/2026 and lasts 13 weeks. Employment type is travel. Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry; Discipline: RN.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements

• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications.
• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience (minimum 1 year).
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.

Skills

• Able to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
