About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg Tele position in Titusville, FL. This 13-week travel contract involves providing care in a high-acuity mixed unit encompassing Med/Surg, PCU, and Telemetry. The role requires floating as necessary and strong clinical skills to manage complex patient needs.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00), 3x12

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Tele environment
• Monitor patient conditions and manage high-acuity cases
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Participate in rapid response and critical care situations
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies according to protocols
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech charting system

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry unit
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS
• Valid RN license for Florida or compact state
• Experience with cardiac drips (no titration), dysrhythmias, and CVA management
• Previous rapid response team experience strongly preferred
• Ability to float within the scope of practice as needed

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
