Travel MS/Tele RN - $1,465 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a mixed unit telemetry department in Titusville, Florida. This is a 13-week travel contract position with a day shift schedule. The ideal candidate will possess strong telemetry skills and high acuity experience, caring for a patient ratio of 1:6 while floating as necessary within the unit's scope and working with a rapid response team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity mixed unit
• Monitor patients' condition and administer medications as per protocols
• Participate in rapid response and management of patients with cardiac issues
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including therapy and social services
• Document patient care activities using Meditech
• Work with total joints and high-acuity patients, ensuring adherence to care standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a telemetry or mixed unit nursing role
• Current RN license in Florida or compact state
• Certification in ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmias, and managing cardiac drips (no titration)

Preferred Qualifications

• Rapid response team experience
• Total joint care background

Schedule

• 13-week contract
• Day shift, 4x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope required
