About the role
Aya is seeking a Travel MS/Tele Registered Nurse to join their team in Waterbury, CT.
Responsibilities
- Administer blood products as needed
- Implement isolation precautions and PPE as required
- Provide care in Med/Surg settings
- Manage nasal cannulas and non-invasive airway management
- Care for peripheral lines and PICC lines
- Initiate and maintain intravenous lines
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- BLS certification
- Knowledge of the skills listed above
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience with the assigned facilities' charting system (Cerner)
Skills
- Knowledge of blood product administration
- Experience with isolation precautions and PPE
- Proficiency in Med/Surg care
- Ability to manage nasal cannulas and non-invasive airway management
- Experience with peripheral line care and management
- Skilled in PICC line management and starting and maintaining IVs
