About the Role

This is a 13-week assignment with night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) on a 3x12-hour schedule. The facility uses Cerner for charting and is an acute care hospital with 119 beds.

Pay

$2,199 to $2,429 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).

• CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) care
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin administration
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Insulin administration and IV insulin protocols
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Med/Surg and MS/Tele experience
• Nasal Cannula and Oxygen administration
• Non-invasive airway management
• Oral suctioning
• PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia)
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• Phlebotomy
• PICC line management
• Post MI care
• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
• Pre/Post neurosurgery care
• Renal failure management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Surgical drains management
• Telemetry (on-unit and remote monitoring)
• Total joint replacement care
• Traumatic Brain Injury care
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Previous Charge Nurse experience required
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
