About the role

This is a 13-week assignment with night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) on a 3x12-hour schedule. The facility uses Epic for charting.

Responsibilities

• Accessing/Managing Ports
• CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) care
• Heparin Protocols
• Non-invasive airway management
• PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia)
• Surgical drains management
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood Product Administration
• Central line care/management
• Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac
• Feeding tube care and management
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• MS/Tele monitoring
• Nasal Cannula and Oxygen administration
• Oxygen tanks management
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• PICC line management
• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
• Renal failure care
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Total joint replacement care
• Tracheostomy care/management
• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification
• NC License or Compact License

Facility & Unit Information

This is an acute care hospital with 121 beds. Patient ratios are 6:1 on nights and weekends.

Pay

$1,810.00 to $2,028.64 weekly. Pay includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.
