Pay
$1,888 to $2,103 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.
Schedule
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
- Patient ratios: 6 patients per nurse on nights and weekends
Responsibilities
- Provide care in Med/Surg and Telemetry units
- Manage blood product administration, bowel obstruction, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), colostomy/ileostomy care, continuous bladder irrigation (CBI), feeding tube care, heparin administration, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
- Perform nasal cannula oxygen delivery, oral suctioning, peripheral line care, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure care, IV starts and maintenance, substance withdrawal management, surgical drain care, total joint replacement care, rapid response/code team utilization, and wound/wound vac care
- Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Use Epic charting system
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Active BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Active NC license or compact license
- Skills in the areas listed under Responsibilities
Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
