Travel MS/Tele Float RN - $1,686 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13‑week assignment in Olympia, Washington. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. TotalMed RN is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency that places nurses, therapists, pharmacists, and other clinicians in all 50 states, focusing on matching highly‑skilled staff with facilities to ensure adequate staffing and a better patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
• Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds.
• Possess close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• 1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience (Telemetry/Med Surg preferred).
• Ability to meet the physical demands described above.
