Travel MRI Technologist I - $2,812 per week

About the role

Magnet Medical is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Procedure Preparation: Review patient medical history, explain MRI procedure, complete necessary documentation, verify patient identity and screening criteria, prepare and position MRI room.
• Conducting MRI Scans: Operate MRI machine, adjust settings, position patients, administer contrast agents, monitor scan quality, make adjustments as necessary.
• Patient Safety and Comfort: Ensure patient safety, monitor vital signs, provide reassurance, address concerns or side effects.
• Post-Procedure Care: Assist patient off table, provide post-procedure instructions, schedule follow-up scans.
• Maintenance and Equipment Care: Ensure MRI machine is calibrated, clean and disinfect equipment, monitor equipment performance, report issues.
• Collaboration with Medical Team: Communicate with physicians, radiologists, and other staff, collaborate with radiologists, document patient information.
• Radiation Safety and Protocols: Follow safety guidelines, adhere to radiation safety standards, participate in professional development.

Qualifications

• Current state certification as an MRI Technologist.
• Experience with MRI equipment and scanning techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient care protocols.
