About the role
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in a travel role. This position involves performing advanced MRI procedures across various body regions, utilizing equipment such as GE and Siemens systems, and ensuring high-quality imaging for diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Flexibility to work in different hospital units and respond to disaster or mass casualty events is required. The role offers a 13-week contract with opportunities to work at multiple facilities, including orthopedics and main hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to perform advanced imaging procedures
- Administer contrast agents as required
- Follow and enforce safety protocols
- Ensure high-quality imaging for diverse patient populations
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
- Current ARRT and BLS certifications
- Prior travel experience (first-time travelers are not accepted)
Skills
- Proficiency in imaging techniques such as diffusion, gradient echo, MIP, MRP, spin echo, T1 & T2 imaging, and surface coils
- Experience with GE and Siemens MRI systems
Schedule
- Rotating shift hours
- No call requirements
- 13-week contract
