Travel MRI Technologist - $3,218 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for an evening shift position at a Level III trauma center hospital that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures under the supervision of a radiologist
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the electronic health record (Epic)
• Rotate weekends and holidays as required
• Participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility

Requirements

• ARRT (MRI) certification required; state license required if applicable
• Current BLS required
• MRI Technologist experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
• Covid vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted
• One professional reference required for consideration

Qualifications

Skills

• ARRT (MRI) certification
• BLS certification
• Experience in acute care settings

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
