Travel MRI Technologist - $3,186 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center in New Haven, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in a high-acuity environment
• Ensure accurate patient charting via Epic
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment
• Work in a 2x16-hour shift and 1x8-hour shift schedule, including weekends
• Comply with all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI Technologist experience
• Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment
• Trauma center experience at a large facility
• Current ARRT (MR) certification and BLS
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Pending state license accepted — license required if applicable
• One professional reference required for consideration

Qualifications

• Live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• RTO of 7 days or fewer may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require additional facility approval; block scheduling is not available
• Flu vaccine is required — declinations are not accepted
• Covid vaccine and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions considered

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
