Travel MRI Technologist position at Strong Memorial Hospital (SMH) / University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) in Rochester, NY.

• Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
• Duration: 12–13 weeks
• Start date: 11/09/2026
• Employment type: Travel
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Orientation: 40 hours/week for the first 2 weeks before starting regular solo shift; must be flexible to work days and/or evenings during orientation

Schedule

• Shift: 4×10s, Tuesday–Friday, 11:30 AM–10:00 PM
• No call required
• No university holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans
• Prepare and assist patients
• Maintain a safe scanning environment
• Document procedures confidentially
• Coordinate with physicians

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• Associate degree in MRI or Radiology
• Current AHA BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Experience with Client or Siemens MRI scanners (mandatory)
• ARRT certification or similar preferred; must be willing to obtain after starting
• Proficiency in all non-contrast exams, routine MSK, Neuro, Spine, and occasional body MRI

Skills

• All non-contrast MRI examinations
• Routine musculoskeletal (MSK), neuro, and spine imaging
• Occasional body MRI
• EPIC experience within the last year (preferred)
