About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract with one of our top healthcare clients in Dover, New Hampshire. This position starts on 09/07/2026 and offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to assist in diagnosing disease and injury, utilizing knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles.
• Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors around the MRI scanner’s powerful magnetic field.
• Position patients and coils on the scanner table and inject contrast media as required.
• Set appropriate technical parameters, operate MRI equipment, and observe image data during scans.
• Identify differences between normal and abnormal images and recognize life-threatening situations.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and professional guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and compassionate patient care in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment and promote national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Eighteen months of MRI Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
