Travel MRI Technologist - $3,022 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract position in Dover, New Hampshire. The assignment begins on October 12, 2026, and has a duration of 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week scheduled as 8-hour evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to safely and efficiently assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury.
• Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors in proximity to the MRI scanner’s magnetic field.
• Position patients and coils on the scanning table and inject contrast media as required.
• Set appropriate technical parameters and observe image data on computer monitors during scans.
• Differentiate between normal and abnormal images and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
