Travel MRI Technologist - $3,000 per week

About the role

Travel MRI Technologist position in an acute care setting at a facility in Tacoma, Washington. The assignment is 16 weeks starting 11/02/2026, with 40 hours per week (5×8 shifts), Monday–Friday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM. No weekends or holidays unless mutually agreed; limited on-call. Orientation during the first full week. Traveler provides own scrubs. The role covers both inpatient and outpatient MRI, with two scanners (Siemens TIMS Symphony and 3T Trio) performing neuro, body, and MSK studies at approximately 13 scans per day. Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans (neuro, body, MSK) on Siemens TIMS Symphony and 3T Trio scanners
• Manage approximately 13 scans per day across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Start IVs for contrast administration
• Operate Epic EMR and McKesson PACS systems
• Work independently with in-house radiologist support
• Participate in limited on-call rotation
• Complete orientation during first full week

Requirements

• 2+ years of MRI experience
• Active Washington state license (or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification
• ARRT(MR) certification
• Experience with neuro, body, and MSK MRI studies
• IV-start skills
• Ability to work independently in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week (5×8-hour shifts)
• Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays unless mutually agreed
• Limited on-call responsibility
• 16-week assignment starting 11/02/2026

Pay

Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
