Job Description

As a Travel MRI Tech, you'll perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients across a variety of clinical settings. You’ll work alongside radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans following physician orders and imaging protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging quality
  • Administer contrast agents as needed and monitor for adverse reactions
  • Maintain clear, accurate patient records and scan documentation
  • Ensure adherence to MRI safety regulations, including screening for contraindications

Requirements

  • ARRT certification in MRI (MR) required
  • Active state license or eligibility, as applicable
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI safety procedures
  • Experience with Siemens, GE, or Philips MRI systems preferred
