Travel MRI Technologist - $2,981 per week
About the role
Massachusetts Eye and Ear is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. This position requires 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging safely and efficiently based on established guidelines and protocols.
- Have sound knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neuro-vascular anatomy, and head and neck anatomy, including knowledge of common head and neck diseases and their processes.
- Work independently and collaboratively with Radiologists, the Lead Imaging Specialist, Associate Director Radiology, and fellow technologists to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of exams.
- Provide comfort and safety to patients to achieve the highest diagnostic imaging quality possible.
Requirements
- Current registration as an MRI Technologist in Massachusetts.
- Experience in MRI imaging preferred.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neuro-vascular anatomy, and head and neck anatomy.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
- Current registration as an MRI Technologist in Massachusetts.
Skills
- Strong technical skills in MRI imaging.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
