About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a duration of 13 weeks starting on July 27, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently.
- Absorb and observe image data on computer monitors during scans.
- Ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety within the MRI scanner's powerful magnetic field.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
- Comply with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
- Eighteen months of MRI tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
Qualifications
- Preferred eight years of MRI tech experience.
- Experience in a critical care setting preferred.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ability to operate MRI scanners and related equipment.
Skills

Pay
Your pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amounts to be determined.
