About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a night shift position in Metairie, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- 4x10 hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Rotating call required on nights and weekends
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- Siemens MRI equipment experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
- Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
- Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable — a temporary LSRT is accepted and typically takes 3–5 days to issue once the fee is paid and proof of ARRT is submitted
- Ability to start IVs required
- A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
Qualifications
- Copies of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Skills
- ARRT certification
- LSRT licensure
- Experience with Siemens MRI equipment

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 10 hours per shift, nights, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
