About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently.
- Ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety within the MRI environment.
- Set appropriate technical parameters and observe image data during scans.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
- Comply with regulatory and practice guidelines.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
- Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in critical care settings.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
