Travel MRI Technologist - $2,877 per week

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and perform all MRI examinations while operating equipment safely and efficiently.
• Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures to maximize the effective use of the MRI scanner.
• Perform IV access using sterile techniques and administer contrast media under physician supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of the MRI scanner and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and quality assurance procedures.
• Effectively utilize PACS, RIS, and current EMR, and complete necessary documentation for each examination.
• Comply with continuing education requirements as set by regulatory entities.
• Safely lift and transfer patients using ergonomic techniques and appropriate patient handling devices as needed.

Requirements

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Washington State Certification as a radiologic technologist.
• Graduate of an accredited course in Radiologic Technology, approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT registration in MRI.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous MRI experience.

Schedule

Evening and night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total).

Pay

Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
