Travel MRI Technologist - $2,816 per week

About the Role

Coast Medical Service is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 14-week assignment in Elmhurst, New York. This is a full-time travel position with a 40-hour workweek and daytime shifts (07:00–15:30).

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines for patient care and imaging procedures.

Requirements

• Active certification as an MRI Technologist (ARMRIT or ARRT).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent clinical MRI experience.
• Ability to travel and work on short-term assignments.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• State licensure or eligibility in New York.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined). Note: Pay rate may differ for locally based candidates.

Schedule

• Duration: 14 weeks (starting 08/24/2026).
• Shift: 8 hours per day, daytime (07:00–15:30).
