About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers as needed.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as an MRI Technologist.
- Experience in MRI technology preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program.
- Passing score on the American Registry for Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) exam.
Skills
- Proficiency in MRI equipment operation.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Pay
$50-55 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
8 hours, days, Monday - Friday, 7a - 8a start - 3:30p/4:30p end, 40 hrs/week; holiday rotation; Call - on call schedule.
