Travel MRI Technologist - $2,727 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in New Lenox, Illinois.

About the role

This is a travel position with one of our top healthcare clients. The role requires 40 hours per week on an 8-hour shift schedule, starting 09/14/2026.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to assist in diagnosing disease and injury.
• Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors around the MRI scanner’s magnetic field.
• Position patients and coils on the scanner table and inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters, operate MRI equipment, and observe image data during scans.
• Identify differences between normal and abnormal images.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and professional guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and compassionate patient care.
• Maintain a safe work environment and promote patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Eighteen months of MRI Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
