The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and demonstrate expertise in operating GE equipment. Responsibilities Perform MRI scans safely and accurately, ensuring high-quality imaging for approximately 9 patients per shift. Collaborate with another MRI Technologist or Tech Aide while providing patient care, as solo work is not permitted. Cover on-call duties as needed, particularly during late-night hours. Participate in departmental orientation for new staff and assist in training as necessary. Shift and Scheduling Information This position requires two 16-hour shifts on weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 11:30 PM. Availability for part of shift and holiday coverage is required. Weekend and Holiday Requirements MUST work during two designated holiday blocks, which include: Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the weekend after Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of current MRI experience. ARRT (MR) Certification is required. Experience with GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment is required. Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred. Must be willing to work weekends and evenings, and be available for call as needed. A current vehicle for transportation is required.
