Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week contract assignment in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The position starts November 16, 2026, with a schedule of 5×8 day shifts (40 hours per week). Employment type: Travel/Contract/Temporary.

Responsibilities

• Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of the patient’s body for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform related technological functions under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative, to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care utilizing efficient and safe processes.
• Perform patient studies according to set protocol, including placing specified coils close to the area of interest.
• Operate imaging and other equipment to provide quality diagnostic services, including keying commands to specify scan sequences into the computer, adjusting transmitters and receivers, and keying in data on the camera keyboard to photograph images.
• Interview patients to explain MRI procedures, address concerns, and exhibit a high degree of tact, courtesy, and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
