MRI Technologist - Night Shift (5x8 Schedule) Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night Shift: 5x8 Hours, 23:00 - 07:30, Monday to Friday; Manager is also open to 4x10 shifts from 21:00 - 07:30, Monday through Thursday. Every third weekend required. Holidays required as scheduled.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist with over 3 years of experience in MRI imaging. The ideal candidate will demonstrate competence in performing a range of MRI scans, including Neuro, Body, and MSK, and have experience working with ventilated patients, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma setting. Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and the handling of MRI zones is essential, along with the ability to ensure safety for visiting staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans for various diagnostic needs, ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Manage and operate Siemens Aera and Sola 1.5 T magnets.
• Maintain MRI safety protocols and oversee visiting staff safety.
• Work with ventilated and monitored patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during scans.
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient care and imaging outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI Technologist experience.
• ARRT MR and ARRT R certifications required.
• Experience with ventilated patients in a trauma setting preferred.
• Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment and various scanning techniques.
• BLS certification is required.

Pay package

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
