Travel MRI Technologist - $2,580 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients. Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners and assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries.
• Ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety during MRI procedures.
• Set appropriate technical parameters, operate MRI scanners, and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Comply with regulatory and professional guidelines.
• Provide quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
• Eighteen months of MRI tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Skills

Qualifications include completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology, valid state radiology registration, and eighteen months of MRI tech experience preferably in a critical care setting. Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology is also preferred.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amounts to be determined.
