Travel MRI Technologist - $2,551 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients. The position offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and a duration of 13 weeks starting on July 27, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently.
• Ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety within the MRI environment.
• Set appropriate technical parameters, operate MRI scanners, and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Comply with regulatory and professional guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
• Eighteen months of MRI tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for state licensure.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
