About the role

The location is seeking an MRI Technologist for a rotating shift schedule. The ideal candidate will independently perform imaging procedures utilizing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology. This role requires competence in various technical procedures, adherence to safety protocols, and effective patient interaction within a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

Schedule

• Rotating shift
• 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment

Responsibilities

• Review, process, and archive imaging data
• Perform patient identification
• Aid physicians with protocol adherence
• Document clinical information
• Ensure proper coding and documentation in electronic records
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS program with MRI registry
• MRI registry must be acquired within 18 months of the primary registry date or date of hire if already obtained
• CNMT, ARDMS, and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MRI registry within 12 months of hire date
• Minimum 2 years of experience in MRI
• Certification in ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists), NMTC (Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification), or ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid Pennsylvania licenses: Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73

Pay

Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
