Travel MRI Technologist - $2,540 per week

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist position is based in York, Pennsylvania, at a healthcare facility's imaging center specializing in advanced diagnostic procedures. The role involves performing MRI scans within a collaborative interdisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment. The schedule includes day shifts with specific weekend coverage requirements.

Job Details

• Schedule: Fridays 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM; Saturdays and Sundays 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• Certification in MRI technology; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification;
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification;
• At least 2 years of relevant MRI experience;
• Valid Pennsylvania licensure;
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred;
• Able to care for COVID-19 patients;
• Must be within 50 miles of the facility;
• No license hits are accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a community hospital, trauma level, or LTAC setting;
• Mammography experience with MQSA standards;
• Familiarity with GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba imaging equipment;
• Proficiency in image post-processing and advanced MRI techniques.

Additional Information

• The candidate may care for COVID patients.
• The facility maintains a tobacco- and fragrance-free environment, and candidates should notify prior to submission.
• Modules are billable, typically taking 5-6 hours, and are completed pre-start.
• The employer prefers that RTO (reasons for time off) be minimized to 7 days maximum.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
