About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate scanners safely and efficiently.
- Absorb patients and coils onto MRI tables and observe scan data on monitors.
- Inject contrast media as needed and set technical parameters.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration.
- Eighteen months of MRI tech experience, preferably in critical care settings.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
