About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a position in Bangor, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and safety guidelines
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members
Requirements
- Current state licensure as an MRI Technologist
- Experience in performing MRI procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program
- Passing score on the American Registry for Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) exam
Skills
- Proficient in using MRI equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
