Travel MRI Technologist - $2,482 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a position in Keene, New Hampshire. The role is for an Allied Health Professional specializing in MRI Technology, with a start date of 10/26/2026, a duration of 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts, and travel employment type. Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff
• Assist radiologist with procedure performance
• Start I.V.s, administer contrast media as directed and per protocol
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and label appropriately
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience (some references note 1.5 years)
• Must have BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging, and state‑specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
• ARRT (MR), BLS, 1.5 Years (additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment)

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
