Travel MRI Technologist - $2,463 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel contract assignment at a partnering hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. As an MRI Tech, you'll use advanced imaging technology to provide high-quality diagnostic scans that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients. This is a 13-week travel position with possibility to extend, working 10-hour day shifts for 40 hours per week. Start date: ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
• Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registration
• Phillips MRI Systems experience
• Current state license (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center
• Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills

Pay

$2,290 – $2,463 per week for a 13-week contract with possibility to extend. Hospital setting. Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience.

Schedule

10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week. Duration: 13 weeks with possibility to extend.
