Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Scan a diverse patient population including: trauma patients, ICU patients, emergency department patients, inpatients, pediatric patients, geriatric patients, and sedated patients.
- Operate and troubleshoot Siemens and GE MRI systems.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and anesthesia teams to facilitate efficient patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and image quality standards.
- Prioritize urgent and emergent imaging studies in a high-volume Level I Trauma environment.
Requirements
- ARRT (MR) Registered required.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Previous acute care hospital MRI experience.
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center strongly preferred.
- Comfortable scanning critically ill, trauma, ICU, ER, pediatric, geriatric, and sedated patients.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
