Travel MRI Technologist - $2,401 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Charleston, West Virginia. The position is with a hospital, requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts (06:00‑18:00). Start date is October 12, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures for adult patients in acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings.
• Ensure patient safety during MRI scans and operate the Philips scanner proficiently.
• Maintain documentation using Cerner or Fuji Synapse systems.
• Adhere to hospital protocols for contrast administration and IV starts.
• Contribute to departmental caseload by managing an average of 20‑25 patients per 24 hours.

Requirements

• Work experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings.
• MRI procedure experience: Abdomen and MRCP.
• Current BCLS certification and ARRT (MR) certification.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a registered MRI technologist.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
• No call requirement.
• Pending state license accepted if active by start date.
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week.

Skills

• IV starts required.
• PACS and contrast experience preferred.

Pay

Pay range: $2,297.96 – $2,412.86 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend to be determined).

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours, 06:00 – 18:00, 36 hours per week. Weekend work required (Saturday and Sunday).
