Travel MRI Technologist - $2,398 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment in Las Cruces, NM.

Responsibilities

• Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Imaging includes soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with and without contrast media
• Adjusts imaging parameters to study a variety of anatomical areas including the brain, spine, joints, extremities, and arterial system
• Provides timely MRI imaging services to inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• After-hours and weekend on-call rotation required (approximately 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience required
• BLS certification required
• MRT (Magnetic Resonance Technology) certification required
• New Mexico state radiography license required; license required if applicable
• ARRT registration and MR specialty certification preferred
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Qualifications

• No restrictions on previous employment at CHS facilities
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Blocked schedules cannot be accommodated

Skills

• Siemens MRI equipment experience preferred

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
