About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Skokie, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently.
- Absorb patients and coils onto MRI tables and ensure proper positioning.
- Inject contrast media as required and set appropriate technical parameters.
- Operate MRI scanners and related equipment, observe image data, and recognize abnormal images.
- Respond to life-threatening situations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
- Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in critical care settings.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
